1. Purpose of the App
Guven Phone is an Android phone application designed to place calls, manage incoming and outgoing calls, display contacts, show call history, and provide an accessibility-focused phone experience.
2. Data the App May Access
The app may access contacts, phone numbers, call logs, incoming and outgoing call state information, SIM and phone account details, notification state, and user-created quick replies, favorites, blocked numbers, and app preferences.
3. How the Data Is Used
This data is used only to display contacts, place calls, show, answer, or reject incoming calls, display call history and missed-call notifications, support dual-SIM selection, send quick SMS replies, store favorites and settings, and provide accessibility features.
4. Data Sharing
Personal and sensitive user data accessed by Guven Phone is not sent to developer-operated remote servers. The app does not use advertising networks, analytics, or tracking services, and it does not send contacts, call logs, or phone numbers to developer servers.
The app works with Android system components on the device and with system services chosen by the user. If the user selects a third-party TTS engine, data handling by that engine is governed by the provider's own privacy policy.
5. Internet and Network Use
Guven Phone does not transfer user data to a developer-operated network service for its core functions. In the current version, there is no intended use that sends user data to developer servers.
6. Local Data Storage
The app may store some data locally on the device, including favorites, blocked numbers, quick replies, theme and accessibility settings, and start-screen and calling preferences. Contacts and call logs are primarily read from Android system providers and are managed by the operating system.
7. Retention and Deletion
Locally stored data may remain on the device until the user deletes it, clears app data, or uninstalls the app. Users can remove data by uninstalling the app, clearing app storage, deleting related records inside the app, or editing system contacts and call logs through Android.
8. Security
Guven Phone uses accessed personal and sensitive data only to provide core phone functionality. The app is configured with allowBackup disabled to reduce backup-related risk, and data is kept on-device whenever possible. However, no software or device environment can guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
Guven Phone is a general-purpose phone app and is not specifically directed to children.
10. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If a significant change is made, the latest version will be published on this page.
